Building Tribal Wealth. Delivering Tribal Projects.

Eastwood Development Tribal Ventures partners with Nations to unlock access to private-sector real estate investment and deliver Tribally led development with efficiency, clarity, and integrity.

Our purpose is to remove barriers, eliminate inefficiencies, and reinvest our experience into Tribal-led growth.

ALIGNED FINANCIAL PARTNERS, NOT INTERMEDIARIES

Eastwood Development Tribal Ventures connects Tribes directly to private-sector real estate investments as active, aligned partners — not intermediaries.

Since 2010, we have developed more than 40 projects across multifamily, single-family, mixed-use, commercial, and industrial sectors. We invest alongside our Tribal partners, sharing in both risk and reward through a no-fee model that fully aligns our success with yours.

We provide three flexible investment strategies that balance return potential, security, and diversification:

01

Construction Equity Investments
High-return potential • Direct ownership & upside participation • Ground-up developments

Real Estate Funds / Stabilized Assets
Diversified markets & asset classes • Reduced development risk with stronger cash flow • Multiple upside levers

02

Real Estate Lending
Highest security • Fixed-rate, regular return profile • Tribal capital secured by real estate

03

We work closely with your Economic Development Department or financial advisory team as a real estate–specific, complementary partner — bringing boots-on-the-ground deal access and professional investor strategy to help build long-term wealth.

Most importantly, we aim to redirect the economic activity of larger population centers into the hands of Tribal economies — particularly for Nations whose land base is in more rural or under-built markets.

OUR STORY

After a combined 35+ years in the private sector—Lucas in real estate and construction, Gabe in finance and hedge fund management—we both found ourselves at a crossroads. Lucas spent over 15 years leading real estate development and construction ventures, generating tens of millions of dollars in returns for investors. Gabe spent two decades on Wall Street, managing a portfolio that exceeded $1 billion and delivered over $100 million in profits. We had built trusted reputations and generated significant wealth—but despite our success, we each began to feel a deeper calling: to do work that aligned with our values and could create lasting impact.

Five years ago, we came together around a shared conviction: that our private sector expertise could be used to serve tribal communities. For Lucas, a tribal member, this mission is personal. Having grown up on a reservation, he has borne witness to the generational barriers many Native communities face—limited upward mobility, systemic disinvestment, and economic frameworks that have largely excluded tribes from participating in diverse wealth creation.

Together, we are driven by the belief that tribes deserve access to the same financial tools, strategies, and pathways to sovereignty that have propelled growth in other sectors. Our work is about bridging those worlds—with humility, integrity, and a deep respect for Native leadership, culture, and self-determination.
